
Kiwis are a volunteering bunch. Across New Zealand, over a quarter of the population partake in some form of volunteering.
AFS is a not for profit organisation that is administered by a small group of paid staff, and run by countless volunteers. Without these people, AFS would not exist to help people around the world experience intercultural exchanges.
The main misconception about volunteering is the amount of time you need. A couple of hours a month is enough to make a huge difference to us! Whether you are a busy single parent that can spend an hour when the kids are asleep, or a hard-core vounteer, ready to put in as much time as you can afford, we would love to hear from you!
